Let me say to anyone who has been gracious enough to allow me to enjoy their likeness that I swear on my balls I would never publish any image of without permission. I steal royalties off good photographers but I'm not a cyber-rapist. So back with the self-portrait (it was here before but I was concerned about getting on a wanted poster (I'm on enough unwanted posters as it is). Hoping thing are sorted now, I did have photos of one woman stored on my hardrive - now deleted. Spooky looking creep huh?

I am not sure where this post has stemmed from but.... when people put pictures of themselves freely on the internet, either via blogs, or sending them via instant messenger, those pictures are basically up for grabs. Particularly if you have no idea who visits your blog, or who you are chatting to online.
I would like to think that no one pinches my pics, or puts them on other sites, but I am not so niaeve as to expect it does not, or has not happened.
That would be MY fault for supplying the pictures in the first place would it not?
Now if my nearest and dearest did it without telling me, I would be hurt, but I cannot expect people unknown to me not to.
Why should I? I could try and rely on their morals and principals and certain standards and I would like to think that they dont, but ultimately If I place photos on the net I cannot then turn around and then call "foul play" because of my initial action of placing them in a public forum can I?....
I wouldnt be worrying about whatever it was you were worrying about with this post. I feel you just appreciate the beauty of photography and all that it conjures up inside and I dont think you hesitate in expressing your like, in other words perhaps you are too honest!

i also have no idea what you were saying, but nice "weird light effect that is probably accidental but looks cool enough to be clever and real".
Cheers also....

Thank you ladies, was feeling abit hannibal coz someone spun out over an admittedly foolish, but never threatenibg post. No probs, all good: I'm sensitive to accusations of fucking people over. In the words of Dylan (I think rosie&M think bdsm stands for Bob Dyaln - superb music) "I've paid the price of solitude but at least I'm out of debt".
The crystal ball up on the wall hasn't shown me nothing yet.....
Stop looking.....
